This is a 1978 Renault R17 GORDINI "1326" silver with a red interior. 55,300 miles on the odometer. The interior is in good condition, dashboard has one crack, quartz clock works but hour and minute hands do not spin, only the seconds hand spins around. Good glass all the way around. Steering wheel is not original. electric soft top works, the vinyl is original and it"s not in good shape, it has several tears all around. Hard top cover is in very good shape. The car runs and drives, fuel tank was recently pulled out, cleaned and treated with "POR15" kit and reinstalled with a brand new old stock original fuel sender, brand new set of injectors were installed and the manifold Air Flow sensor "Bosch L Jetronic" renewed, new Bosch fuel pump and fuel lines were also installed, new fuel pump is very noisy but it works fine. Brakes are in working condition, rear brake limiter switch valve was replaced with a newer OEM "BENDIX" part in order to bleed the lines with new brake fluid, brake pedal feels soft and responsive. A/C turns on but it doesn"t hold the gas, I added a bottle of expensive R12 FREON and amazingly the A/C started blowing cold air that it lasted for about one hour. it might be a leak in the condenser, evaporator or through the old lines, compresor engage and disengage, it has oil and the air dryer is clean. There is surface rust and some small perforation in the quarter panels, bonnet, rear hatch and doors bottom lip , spray paint touch-ups are visible all around done by the previous owner. the floor and the unibody cross members are solid with no visible perforations but surface rust is visible underneath. Wheels and tires are in very good shape, spare tire is new. This is a complete 41 years old driver original "GORDINI" car needing restoration. The car comes with clean and clear Florida Title.
