This 2009 Subaru Outback XT is a thoughtfully modded example fitted with the desirable Limited package including heated leather seats, a large dual-pane moon roof, upgraded stereo and more. XT trim level included 2.5 liter turbo four, and this rare 5speed-equipped example would have done 0-60 in around six seconds bone-stock. The car has been Dyno tuned by Boosted producing 355 WHP on the daily driver tune. Sale includes maintenance and build records dating back to 2012 this car is built to be a daily driver with a true sleeper quality in mind, the car runs well, pulls strong, and handles great. The is the car for the family man who needs more space than an STI and who wants to save on insurance.
The car has been lifted via Rallysport suspension with King spring upgrade and KYB struts, a setup known to offer both sharp responses and good ride quality. Other suspension upgrades include Whiteline bushing all the way around, camber correction kit in the rear. All new OEM brakes with powder-coated calipers to match the orange theme rally gear underneath. Wheels are 17″ OEM powder-coated black, wrapped in 225/60 Yokahama Geolander A/T-S. These fourth-gen cars are the last Legacy’s made with frameless windows, combined with the body cladding large rally style fogs upfront beefy stance, hood scope and blacked out OEM headlamps gives the Outback a slight edge in looks
The interior is a 9/10 all materials needing repair where replaced with OEM parts include new leather upfront all the way to the accent clips in the rear hatch. Everything works, as it should with this up level XT limited trim. This 5speed has had minor interior upgrades giving the interior a sportier JDM feel. Custom made 3 bay gauge pod holds, within reach, all the gauges required for an in-tune driver to keep an eye on the cars performance all while being able to switch between 3 custom and dyno proven tunes with the SI-Drive button going from Zippy Grocery Getter to Porsche Eater in a matter of seconds.
With all the things happing on interior wrapped around the perfect exterior, the real goods are hiding beneath that ominous front fascia. We shall start at the top………. a custom fitted Perrin TMIC sits atop an upgraded VF52 turbo that has been ported polished and fitted with a billet cartridge. A Kombate recirculation valve has been plumbed in (this is a sleeper after all) this is all being feed by a complete COBB intake system. The custom-made turbo back exhaust provided by Nameless performance provides a nice tone as you move around town and an aggressive rumble when the peddle drops. The car has all the correct bolt on goodies 3port, TVG deletes, etc……. The block was built by WAG Performance with all new internals including forged rods, forged pistons, CP rings all balanced and blueprinted. Heads have been complete gone through studded and clearance to the block. Performance timing and drive belts added along with the replacement of all lines hoses and components needing attention at the time of the build. OEM headers and up pipe have been ceramic coated and the proper OEM spark plugs fitted for the mods. This beast is being feed E85 from a DW in tank pump to the ID1050x injectors all being managed with a Fuelab FPR. The power is put the ground starting at the ACT HD Street Sprung clutch with upgraded single mass flywheel, all feed though the freshly service gearbox and drivetrain with Heri HD axles moving the power to the road.
This should be one of the nicest OBXT out there toting a well thought out and executed build a true reliable daily driver with a sleeper quality and the performance to back it up.
