Vehicle description
Rare, intact, and nearly original 1973 U15 Ford Bronco. It has a 302 ci. engine, C4Automatic transmission, PS (1st year model with this option), Manual Drum Brakes, uncut quarters, never lifted, and was last driven in 1991. I also ordered a Marti Report for a complete detailed description for your reference. This Bronco was originally sold in Pearisburg, Virginia and has apparently resided within 100 miles of there since it’s original sale. The original factory color was Wimbledon White, one of only 187 Broncos produced in 1973 with these particular paint and trim codes which are detailed along with all features and options in the Marti Report. Not that it’s that relevant, but I believe the milage is actual at 100,026.3 based upon the title and odometer. Kind of cool to have a build with an odometer near zero. I was told by my buddy along with the owner’s son the engine was replaced at some point in its life. It appears to be bone stock otherwise except for the missing the OE air cleaner which was replaced with a small chrome unit and i believe it has the wrong water pump on it. I was also told it was running when parked. The engine turns over and sounds normal in the process. I’ve not attempted to start it as it would need the fuel system cleaned and/or updated prior to doing so. It still has a two barrel carburetor as well as exhaust manifolds - no headers! It naturally has rust in all of the usual locations along with some 30 plus year old patches on the rockers, door jambs, and tailgate, etc. The frame, however, appears to be completely solid. It currently has a later model set of Ford OE wagon style wheels on it but the original steel rim wheels are included in this auction. If you’ve ever wanted one to restore or restomod an early Bronco, here’s your chance to get one that’s complete and unmolested. The vehicle will be sold as is where is with a clear Virginia title (excluding the battery which goes to my skeet thrower lol). A $500 PayPal deposit is required from the winning buyer within 24 hours of auction ending and a cash payment for the remaining balance is due within 7 days of the auction ending regardless if a scheduled pick up is after 7 days of the auction ending. I can possibly deliver it within a 50 mile radius of 24014. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask. The description, detail, and photos are all for the actual Bronco shown in the photos and listed here. I’m no Ford expert and have only owned one other Bronco. I have, however, had hundreds of vehicles and the description and details here are from my honest and personal perspective. Again, if you have questions, want more photos, an in person inspection, etc., please be sure to ask. My number is +1 (540) 819-6911 if you’d like to discuss in person. I don’t need any assistance selling this. Bid only if you’re intent is to buy, and bid a lot! ????
