Vehicle description
This is a Japanese import. The VIN is FK10000072. I bought this 1992 Nissan Figaro from an insurance auction with the intention of importing it back to Canada and restoring it to its original glory. Unfortunatley the USA-Canada border has been closed since March 2020, and my passion for this project is no longer there. This car was only invovled in a minor rear-end collision from the right, so the car still runs and drives fine. I have bought all the parts that you will need to restore it, including but not limited to:
- engine hood - upper trunk - lower trunk - headlight/taillight - timing belt, tensioner, water pump - oil filter, spark plugs, AC belt, alternator belt - brand new roof fabric
If you know someone who has a bodyshop, you can restore it easily and cheaply. I really hope someone will be able to restore it and enjoy it. So far I have spent more than $9K on this car. Please note this car is branded as salvage because the cost of repair is more than 75% of the market value, but I have bought all the parts that you will need, so whoever wins this auction only has to fix the bodywork. The only part that I was not able to get is the lower controller arm on the left side. It is broken as shown in the last three photos. However, I spoke to a local bodyshop, and he said it"s not difficult to weld it or manufature a replacement piece. Good luck with the auction!
