NOTE: I HAVE HAD ARIZONA MVD FIX THE TITLE. THE MILEAGE IS ACCURATE. I HAVE ASKED CARFAX TO FIX THEIR REPORTS, TOO. Re-enact your own Ford vs. Ferrari moments with this unusual and rare Carroll Shelby car! 1989 Shelby CSX, crafted in Shelby"s autoworks from a Dodge Shadow. They only made 500 of them, and this is number 247. This is not one of the cheaper versions Shelby made for Thrifty.
Turbo-charged 4-cylinder engine has a lot of power, and the 5-speed stick gets it where it needs to go. You can get airborne on this if you jump on it too hard. Original interior, with Shelby"s name on the seats, door panels, etc. Original paint, with new air dam by Kaminari. The originals were plastic and tended to break easily if you touched a curb wrong. This is fiberglass, painted to an exact match by a pro restoration shop. A can of touch-up is included. New fuel pump, battery, spark plugs, and converted AC. Only 13, 662 miles on this! Yes, you read that correctly. Usually if you find these they are high mileage, trashed, and sometimes remade with non-original parts. This car is as Shelby intended it to be, and looks great and drives wonderful! Note: I do have receipts, a repair manual, an original brochure, and a copy of a previous professional appraisal that I will include. Some pages from that appraisal, including photos of the car as a "barn find" are posted here to help answer your questions. Title is clean with no liens.
