Vehicle description

I’m selling a RARE amazing 1981 Aston Martin Lagonda. Only 645 cars have been made between 1974 and 1990. This one was number 89. A one of a kind! Excellent condition. Brand new tires. Only 36k Miles! -Liter V8 3-Speed TorqueFlite Automatic Transmission. Top speed of up to 150mph. This car was Formerly Owned by Peter Sprague who was the owner and saver of Aston Martin. Largely Stock Working LCD Instruments “Steel Wings” who specializes in Aston Martins do around $25,000 worth of engine work. I put $25,000 into this car. I have all the receipts for it. Most were sold in the Middle East because they were so expensive. Body is aluminum so no rust there but the floor panels and underneath has some. No electrical problems but small leak. Needs a new gasket. Lagondas were designed by William Towns and the aluminum body panels were formed by hand at the Aston Martin factory in Newport Pagnell. lower rear fascia shows small crack section in the fiberglass below the driver-side bumper. Cannock Black is the original shade per the build sheet, taillights are integrated into boot lid plastic finishes, some fading. Headlights pop up. Vin# L00L13089 The dash on this early Series 2 cars featured digital LED instrumentation and touch switches. The dashboard is functional and working and an aftermarket CD player has been installed. The seats, console, and doors are finished in Beige Nuella Connolly leather. The 5.3-liter quad cam V8 engine is original, though the Weber carburetors have been replaced by a Mercedes-derived Bosch fuel injection system. The engine is running and sends power to the rear wheels through a Chrysler-sourced TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The fuel pump was replaced in preparation for the sale and the last service was performed in 2011 at Aston Martin of New England, when the car received a new battery, starter, thermostat, accessory belts, and a coolant flush. The horn and fuel door release were also repaired. The original owner’s manual is included along with a small collection of documents from Mr. Sprague’s ownership This car get chased asking what kind of car it is. Tons of attention! And a cool story behind this car. Will throw in the original Aston Martin cap and shirt as well. Don’t miss out on owning unique rare car!
