Rare 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 "Fastback"!
* Clean clear Florida Title * All numbers match * Original 352-V8 * "X" code car- Fastback * Power steering * Automatic transmission * Solid everywhere * Needs restoring
This is a true "Barn Find" 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback! This project Galaxie has the very desirable Fastback body style and is very unmolested. This car was owned by an older gentleman that was going to restore it but never got to it.
The exterior of this Galaxie is very straight and has never had any accidents. The underneath, floors, trunk pan and frame are all very solid and original. The interior is what you see. .needs restoring but its all the even the headliner! Thie 352-V8 has not run in 15 years but ran when parked. We have not tried to start it so it will need to be towed. It does roll and steer freely. In the trunk there are two large boxes full of extra parts and there are many replacement trim pieces in there also. The only thing missing on the car is the rear bumper. Overall it is a very straight and very solid car that will be beautiful when done! I have attached a few pics of where it was stored when we picked it up. Also, the last pic is a preview of what it can look like finished.
