Vehicle description
Ford SVO Mustang modified for ice racing competition. Car is not street legal, no lights on car other than brake lights. Engine is stock 2.3L turbo with upgraded turbo from 1988 Turbo Coupe, adjustable boost, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. SVO suspension was removed and replace with 1979 turbo mustang components from previous ice racing vehicle. Rear axle was replaced with 1979 turbo Mustang with upgraded traction-loc. Transmission is a modified V8 T-5 with strengthened gears and overdrive removed making it an upgraded 4 speed. Vehicle has a AutoPower roll bar welded in for roll-over protection. Body is solid with minimal rust, and sheet metal is good other than paint and cosmetic racing damage. No major collision damage. Actual mileage unknown. Vehicle runs and shifts well with no mechanical issues. Tires on vehicle are a 15 Inch Hakkapeliitta snow and ice tire, and purchase includes five 14" Mustang steel wheels with Firestone 590 185x14 studded race tires Michigan Ice Racing Association (MIRA) was canceled 3 years ago, so car has been in heated storage since. Purchase also includes spare 2.3L turbo short block from a 1979 carbureted Mustang. Title is a clean title and is not a salvage title.
