I"ve had this car for 4 or 5 years now. Its has been in storage from 1993 till now. When i got it had a blown 427 in the car. I got the car road worthy 2 years ago. I drove it .2 miles and started dropping valve. This car is being sold as is. I have the original HP390 short block that sells with the car. This car has been modified years ago. Some of the original parts have been removed. Since i"ve owned it i"ve been tiring to round up the original parts that are missing. I found the correct intake and distributor. I have a after market bellhousing, and headers that will go with the car. Header are heavily rusted. Really no value in the header. has the correct trans in the car, and drive shaft. Not sure of the gear ratio
This car is one of the last HP375 390 build. The 406 cars was getting build in the same month in 62. This car has very little rust, it has had small repairs by the rear wheel opening. IF someone would want to finish and drive with out restoring this is what it would need. Carb,pullies,belt, clutch, exhaust,coil, heads, that would be the big hitters. Im advertising this car as needing 100% restored because it really needs to be put back to stock. In my option.
