Vehicle description

2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8, purpose built to run the Silver State Classic Challenge in Nevada and other road racing events. Manual six-speed transmission, car currently has 100,500 miles on it.
6.1L Hemi, professionally rebuilt prior to the September 2018 SSCC run. Motor has approximately 2000 miles on it and runs amazing. Built by EPC Racing out of Spokane, WA, the Hemi has 10.8 to 1 diamond forged pistons, Manley 4340 H-Beam rods, COMP Cams 264 camshaft with heavy duty springs, and King Racing engine bearings. All hoses, water pump, etc were replaced when the motor was rebuilt (since it was all out) and the car was tuned to balance hp and performance. The car was dyno’d after the engine installed and registered 425 hp at the rear wheels.
All new high quality, adjustable KW Suspension was installed approximately 1500 miles ago (again, prior to the 2018 SSCC event). New Pirelli tires were installed at the same time. All decals have been removed.
Interior has Cipher front/back/tilt adjustable race seats installed with NRG five-point racing harnesses. Harnesses expired on 12/31/2019. Custom full rollcage from Autopower Industries is installed in the car. The rollcage is designed to NHRA spec and meets the “full-cage” requirements of most (if not all) open road races. Rear seat is tight, but still usable. Install was completed by EPC Racing of Spokane and was done with an eye to maintaining the interior of the car.All OEM equipment remaining in the car is in working condition including the radio, cruise control and power windows. The interior rearview mirror has been removed because of the cage and the airbag light is on because the OEM seats with airbags have been removed.
The heated seats are not connected as the race seats do not have that option. There is no check-engine light on.
This car placed first in the 135 mph class in the fall 2018 Silver State Classic Challenge while reaching a top speed of 158 mph at an elevation of approximately 6500 feet (the elevation definitely takes away from the power of the naturally aspirated motor).
Car is sold as is, where is. I"m happy to allow buyer or buyer"s representative to inspect the car prior to purchase.
Please be aware that bidding via is a binding contract to purchase. I have purchased and sold a number of cars on and am happy to work with Buyers to make sure they are happy. Please do not bid if you do not intend to purchase the car.
