Vehicle description
Porsche Boxster S Project Car 2001 is just starting to mix oil and water in the engine and will need engine repair. The car cranks right up and runs and drives very well and there are no unusual noises in the motor yet and you would not know the motor had an issue until you check the coolant tank. The car is manual transmission 6 speed and is working well except for a little bit of a notchy second gear when cold but runs out well once the gearbox warms up. The car goes straight down the road with suspension and alignment feeling correct and brakes stopping well. Everything we have tried in the car seems to be operational and working well with A/C blowing cold with automatic controller working, radio working well, Instruments working, top and windows going up and down. The Black leather/vinyl combination interior is actually very clean and only the drivers seat is showing any excessive wear where the driver gets in and out of the car and there is a small split in the left bolster of the seat back where the drivers belt would rub. No cracks in the dash, Door panels and speakers are all original and nice. The canvas and headliner and rear plastic glass of the convertible top are in excellent condition and must have been recently replaced. The Boxster S has the bigger wheels and brakes than the base model Boxster and wheels and tires look very good with just a few minor curb rashes on the outer lips of the rims. Tires felt good on the test drive with no flat spots and have 70% or greater tread with a pretty new set of Hankooks on the rear and BF Goodrich tires on the front. There are some stone chips in the paint especially around the gas filler flip up door and some fading of the paint on the right rear fender/quarter panel. The last owners of the car were an older retired couple from Florida and the title is a Florida Title.
