Vehicle description
Up for sale is my 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo with 95k original miles & long term ownership that has been maintained with an open checkbook and includes receipt for all work performed. This car is in incredible condition with everything working and almost fully stock. No cracks in the dash!
In the last year alone work performed includes: New timing belt, balance shaft belt, all tensioners/pullies/idlers Water pump Oil pump sleeve seal Camshaft seal Fuel Lines Radiator hoses Spark Plugs, Wires, Cap New Continental Extreme Contact tires (4) Alignment New Exhaust & Wastegate New A/C System with all NOS Porsche parts incouding Dryer, condensor, compressor etc (converted to R134) In the last 10,000 miles work performed includes: Clutch, Flywheel, Clutch Master & Slave (this is a big job on these cars) All Vacuum lines replaced Sunroof gears & seals replaced Struts, bump stop, inner & outer tie rods & boot covers, brakes, rotors new throttle body, DME relay New steering rack etc etc etc Only modifications were done in the last 12 months and are: a Tial wastegate (set to stock boost pressure of 11psi, old wastegate spring was getting weak however the stock wastegate is included), Lindsey Racing 3" exhaust (stock exhaust will be included, wanted a deeper sound) and a JVC head unit.
Only known issues are a worn shifter cover (I have a new one and will include it in the sale) and slight wear in the drivers seat bolster which is hard to see (I can"t even get a photograph of it to come out).
I have spent a lot of time and money on this car to ensure it is always reliable and a joy to drive. These cars are appreciating rapidly however I just moved to a house with a smaller garage and need to pare down my collection. Two months ago I sold my M3 and this is the next car to go, my loss is your gain.
