Here we have a very special early 911. Aesthetically this is as close as you will get to an original early 70"s RSR of which Porsche only produced 55. This car is not a "back date", it is an evolution period race car that was taken to RSR specification a long time ago and as such has real patina, something that can not be replicated. The car was originally a 1969 European supplied 2.4 911E which evolved to RSR specification. It is an all steel, non sunroof car, it sits on RSR reproduction Fuchs alloys shod with period correct Michelin TB15 Racing tyres, 26/61R15"s on the rear and 18/60R15"s on the front. Suspension is Green Bilsteins all round which give the car such a stance it sits just millimetres over the rear tyres. Currently the car is running a 3.2 motor with a non silenced Dansk race exhaust system, which makes the car sound like a 917! Brakes are 930 turbo callipers with cross drilled rotors. The interior is caged with period correct seats and TRS Harness"s,10k RPM tachometer and 300KPH speedometer, both of which need re-installing as were not connected when the 3.2 motor was installed. The car has lightweight door cards, with pull straps, RSR door mirrors, lightweight carpet set, mid 70"s Clay Regazzoni signature Momo steering wheel, radio and clock deletes. It retains its original perforated headlining, The fuel cell was replaced with a period correct tank. The car is an absolute blast to drive and surprisingly comfortable! The car presents exceptionally well but I would encourage any prospective purchasers to come and inspect it personally as given its age it is sold without warranty given or implied.
