The term rare can have different meanings depending on your perspective. In the case of this ’74 Pontiac Le Mans Sport Coupe, the condition and equipment make it a rare bird indeed. A Sport Coupe model equipped with the 350 cid V8 in this condition and 1-owner low mileage of 61,020 makes this car a spectacular find. Exterior the paint shines up very nice and as well the interior looks incredible! Only 61,020 original miles on this garaged its entire life Lemans Sport Coupe Factory Air Conditioning (has not been converted to R134a and it is functioning) The white interior is in fantastic condition for its age. Starts/Runs/Drives beautifully and sounds incredible with its dual exhaust (the sound of the exhaust system is very nice and not annoyingly loud) New: Battery/Carburetor/Air Cleaner/halo headlights/Doors & Windows & Trunk Weather-stripping/belts/hoses/plugs/Seals/GT leather stitched steering wheel (we have the original steering wheel which is in great condition for those who want the original look you could just put it back on) /Front Windshield/Lloyds PONTIAC logo embossed floor mats. Tires are like new with whitewalls that could also be turned around if you prefer a black wall. It has an older Sony cassette player mounted in the main dash area and we installed an Audio FM Radio, MP3 Player USB/SD/AUX Hands Free Calling with Wireless Remote Control under the dash to retain the main dash cutouts for radio if you wanted to install a gm period correct radio there. Nice large dual exhaust muffler tips can’t be missed jetting beneath the rear bumper ;-) We drove this remarkable Lemans Sport Coupe recently to L.A. and back and it is as smooth as it gets on the highway. Solid and rust free body and frame, and the paint still shines up really nice with some touch ups over the years. Trunk is also clean like new and you wont believe how well this Sport Coupe was preserved! Truly one of those rare cars that rolls out of the garage and you just have to say “Thank you Grandpa for taking such excellent care of my new car!” The doors shut very solid, and the windows go up and down easily. The dash has no cracks whatsoever, and all the gauges function, even the dome light. The white headliner is in great condition, as well as the sun visors. Carpet is original and looks and feels excellent. Wherever we drive this we get honks and thumbs up and people asking about it. You just don’t see something like this driving around anymore and it really puts a smile on your face when you drive it!
