Vehicle Details The car I have is a 1951 Plymouth Belvedere. It's a hardtop with no B pillar. It's mostly original with the engine nor transmission ever coming out of the car- that I know of. I've owned her since 2014. I have done some mechanical work- including head gasket, rebuilt generator, carburetor, starter motor, new tires (bought last year) nice Cokers. I have a new driveshaft and clutch, new oil pan gasket, I had installed two months ago. Everything works but the radio and gas reader. The passenger side glass does have a crack in it. I drive this car often. Wipers work. 6 volt positive ground. Car charges as it should and oil pressure is perfect. Never had an overheating issue. Always garage kept. I change the oil every about 1000 miles. 15W40. Newer master cylinder, brake shoes, wheel cylinders. New timing chain. have receipts and paperwork from September 21 of 1951 to 2021. I'm the 4th owner. It has about 85,000 miles. No mechanical issues I can think of since I just replaced everything that was having an issue. You very rarely see these PLYMOUTH hardtops.The car was repainted I believe in the 1980's and shows really well. The color is a two-toned blue- which was the original color. Shifts and drives as she should. Bright work and chrome are in really nice condition and I assume they're all original. Rear bumper has some chrome wear, but solid and looks good. Interior is all original and in very good condition though the driver's seat front has a tear. It's an honest Plymouth and well made. I can't believe it is 70 years old!
