For sale here I have my patina 1948 Dodge pilot house 3/4 ton truck project that was built as somebody"s hot rod hauling truck decades ago. The truck has a clear current KS title that matches the serial number that is factory stamped in the frame. The Dodge serial number plate on the cab is missing. In place of the original flathead 6 cylinder is a pre 1964 361/383 big block Chrysler engine with a push button automatic transmission. I think that the engine is locked up but I"m not sure. The truck hasn"t ran in at least 20 years. They also used the gauges, gas tank and possibly the rear end out of the donor car. I know the hubcaps aren"t original but they"ve been with the truck since it was hot rodded. The truck is fairly solid with the worst rust being in the rear portion of the front fenders. The transmission tunnel wasn"t the most impressive fabrication but it works. The upper radiator support was clearanced on both sides to fit the larger radiator. The truck is missing some original parts like the glove box door, headlight trim and a bed floor. The truck is located outside of Ottawa, Kansas. All good buyers are welcome. The truck rolls and steers easy for transport. I"ll assist with loading but shipping is the buyers responsibility.
