Vehicle description
The true meaning of resto-mod.
Rust free and always kept in heated garage. From the outside she is all original. New paint. New top and seat covers but everything else came off the car.
I replaced the unreliable Packard flat 8 with a 4.9L 6 cylinder from a Ford F-150. I love driving her now and would feel confident I could drive her across the country. Not a race car but that was not my intention. I just wanted to enjoy automobilia the way it used to be. Pleasant drives in the country or downtown for dinner.
I do not have the original engine/transmission. It is in OR and buyer would have to make separate arrangements.
She looks good enough that I have had her in local shows and boy do I get the crowds. No trophies but the people sure do love to gawk. You will get attention wherever you go.
Power top goes down and up as if she were new. The speedometer and radio are only things that don’t work.
Time to pay for college. Bid with confidence. I do have it for sale locally so this auction may end early.
