This is a street legal LOW SPEED VEHICLE (LSV)
Please check your local laws but most places will allow a properly plated and insured LSV on streets posted 35 mph or less. The Federal law mandates that LSV cars leave the factory with a top speed of 25 mph. This car has been reprogrammed for a top speed of 40 mph. It is not recommended that it be driven at top speed all the time, as you wouldn"t do that with your regular gasoline powered car either.
This car has power windows and a CD/radio. There is a heater.
This car has an AC motor with Curtis motor controller, earlier models had a DC motor with GE motor controller.
Miles are around 8,900.
Range is 20-30 miles depending on driving style and terrain.
The Batteries are DEKA Intimidator - I do not know the exact age but they appear to be 1-2 years old? They charge evenly and hold a charge well. I have not tried to drive it until dead to find out the range on the pack. The built-in charger is a Delta Q 72 volt.
The car is in good overal condition with minor blemishes. The car is constructed from Plastic and aluminum. The body has a few minor scuffs that are hard to see but are there and could be buffed out. The front bumper plastic has a crack as almost all ZENN cars do.
The ZENN car is perfect for a gated community, campground, inner city living, college campus, etc., where the speeds are low and the range is less than 20 miles per day.
