Thanks for stopping by to take a look at our 1977 Palm Beach GMC Motorhome. This lovely coach has been prepared to grace American roads without ever actually getting out very much at all. Clocking just over 37000 miles in over 40 years, she has been pampered!
I’ll go through what I know and am happy to answer questions. I have looked at a number of these GMC’s and they seem to fall into 3 categories: Show Queen, They are expensive and rare Loved, These were enjoyed and maintained to a high quality standard. Neglected, They are often stored outside for decades and in need of tens of thousands of dollars worth of repairs just to be roadworthy.
The Show Queens are still rare, Loved coaches are few and far between and the vast majority fit the neglected category.
I would put this Palm Beach well into the Loved category with thoughtful options that show knowledge of years of motorhome travels. I can see that regular maintenance has been done and one of the most important factors is that I’d bet this girl lived inside a nice warm garage or warehouse (like she does now). She just doesn’t seem to show the wear of an outside life.
Exterior.
26’ side bath model. In GMC floor plan lingo it’s a 26-7 with the full rear Bed. AKA, the one everyone wants. Diamond White Pearl paint with Black accents and a Burgundy stripe set this GMC apart as a looker. Color matched Grill, headlamp doors TWO Zip Dee Awnings in excellent condition. Powerlift helpers are on the main awning. No accident damage Air Deflectors at the driver and passenger windows (for buffet free cruising) Remote controlled Power rear view mirrors (typical today and invaluable on a motorhome!) Skid plate/brush guard (prevents damage in those rougher campsites) Front and Rear Fender Flares with T skirts. Front and Rear anti Sway bars Quad Air Ride system with compressor upgrade Ragusa Chrome engine vents New Goodyear Radial tires Nice glass throughout. Folding Ragusa entry step Lighted GMC entry handle Porch light Deadbolt on entry door (smart!) Quality heavy duty screen door Auxiliary back up light Updated Tail light lenses Smart door latches and lights for generator, propane and shore power Quick fill Schrader valves mounted outboard for Air Ride Nice Chrome bumpers New rooftop clearance lenses and lighting Aluminum Ladder and roof rail option Large locking Storage box King/jack powered TV antenna Frame mounted hidden Class IV hitch. Not a light weight bumper mount. This one is installed to the frame and has a hard mounted wiring pigtail for your trailer or tow behind. Remove the hitch and ball, install the bumper plug and the hitch is hidden away.

Transmission Drives and shifts nice. See video driving.
Braking, Steering Drives, runs and stops well. Brakes, wheels, tires, bearings are all fresh. See video and photos.
Air Ride Quad Air Ride with new compressor and exterior schrader valves. Works excellent.
Glass The glass is in excellent condition. All windows operate properly. Screens are in place.
Interior
From the Captain’s position you’ll notice: Gorgeous White Upholstery in good condition with no rips, tears or worn away spots. Swivel front bucket seats with armrests allow the pilot and co-pilot to join the fun. Optional cocktail table with cupholders Berber carpeting Gorgeous wood flooring Excellent visibility through huge curved glass windshields. Screened vent windows throughout. Windshield privacy curtains Lots of power outlets for charging phones and computers. Center flex steel couch converts to a bed. “Kenwood”? Audio system we haven’t figured out yet. Quad speakers USB connection and handsfree Microphone for your phone. Tilt steering wheel Fold away Flat screen TV with remote control and DC inverter Pleated window blinds throughout with Window boxes Nice dash pad (an Inside girl trait) Electric roof vent fan with watertight cover
In the Galley you’ll find: Beautiful kitchen with louvered Palm Beach cabinetry in excellent condition. Backsplash Preferred Magic Chef 4 burner propane stove with cover New, combo Microwave and Convection oven. Double stainless steel sink with covers Upgraded 3 way Dometic Refrigerator and Freezer 110 Shore power via 50AMP connection. Overhead light fixtures and exhaust fan. Galley floor nite lighting Dual Roof Air Conditioning units blow cold. Systems monitors. Onboard vacuum system Magazine rack
Power Onan generator. Includes optional fuel pump primer. Runs but needs tune up. 110 Shore power via 50AMP connection. Two New Deep cycle marine batteries 25 Gallon propane tank.
Side Bath model Nicely kept. See the video. Shower with new shower curtain Macerator toilet with Bidet. Makeup lighting Towel and accessory racks. Clothesline Supplies include holding tank disinfectant treatments new in the box. She smells nice now and will stay that way.
Quarters Rear queen bed option with reading lights and fan. New memory foam mattress. Thermostat Sofa converts to double bed Seatbelts
Odometer The odometer shows just 37100 miles.
DMV Clean and Clear California title. Registered in California and has California plates. Currently on Non-Op status. Out of State buyers can ship or drive out of CA on a “one trip permit” available from DMV or AAA.
