Vehicle description
Experimental light sport compliant aircraft with a little over 900 hours total time. Built by a watermelon farmer from Florida who was proud of his watermelon color scheme. Bullet-proof 100 HP professionally converted Honda 4 stroke engine w/approx 450 hours. Engine has twin (redundant) ignition computers. Ground adjustable warp drive prop. Transponder. Digital Flip-Flop 720 channel radio w/control on joystick. Lowrance Airmap 2000 Color GPS. Electric flaps. Electric trim on joystick. Aileron spades (reduce control forces). Balloon tires. In-cabin automotive type heater. All documentation and logs since new. Cruise easily on 4 gallons of gas per hour. Engine is rated for unleaded (90 octane) mo-gas, although I have only burned 100 LL. I can fly this to any continental US destination for expenses plus return trip. Pictures of aircraft on the Mississippi river sandbar were taken on Labor day. You can see a video of the take-off from the sandbar posted online if you search for N532JC. The other pictures were taken earlier this summer. I do not have the hangar space to winter this bird. Test flights may be arranged before auction ends at KMDH airport, which is about 2 hours drive east and a little south from St. Louis. Please get your permissions before bidding, as the reason for this sale is because this bird needs a winter home. $500 deposit via paypal within 48 hours. Deposit refundable only if aircraft is found to be not as advertised. Remainder of funds due in 14 days. Please ask questions before auction ends. This aircraft is for sale locally, and is subject to prior sale outside of ebay.
