This is the ultra rare Winnebago Vista VW 3.0 V6 Mini C class RV. It is sometimes called a B but it is really a C class RV. It runs and drives great and is in good condition. We picked it up and drove it 1400 miles back to our shop. We checked and serviced as necessary. We found some fiberglass rippling so we removed and repaired the entire driver side and rear and anywhere else needed. It has no fiberglass problems. It is better now than when new(as far as quality of work on this area). It has no delamination and has NO leaks and NO water damage. It is clean inside and out and everything works. It has the VW 3.0 engine with automatic transmission with overdrive. It has the factory installed towing package. The drive line is very good. It is very dependable and ready to use. It has sleeping for 6 people, well that is what Winnebago says. I say it is really sleeping for four adults. It has the standard appliance package including the gas electric refrigerator. The roof air unit will freeze you out. The generator is 2.8 Onan and factory installed. It is also serviced. The rear bathroom has a nice size shower on one side and a nice size closet on the other. The toilet and vanity are in the middle. It is fully self contained. You will love the cruise control and power mirrors.
It is an absolute joy to drive. You will notice in the pictures I am in one parking spot easily between the lines. It has a lot of power and pick up. It will tow a car and it will handle mountains. Today it was 105 degrees out side and I let the RV idle with the engine ac unit running. It never passed 190 degrees on the engine and it actually kept it tolerable without the roof air unit. If you have never driven an RV before or just want a small one this is a great opportunity to own a one.
During our refurbishing we fixed a lot of little things that got past qc the factory. The first thing that comes to mind in the spare tire. It was mounted with lag bolts to the back wall. Why is this a problem you ask? Well, if you understand the construction of a motor home especially a lite style you will understand. The rear wall is built just like the rest of the walls. It has about a 7mm ply board glued to Styrofoam with windows and pass troughs simply cut out and installed. There really is no wood frame structure or aluminum structure to hold it up. The integrity of the unit depends on the entire unit working as a whole for its strength. Well anyway this spare tire mount was bolted to the rear wall. It was simply bolted to 7mm of ply and styrofoam. It ofcourse was bolted through the fiberglass skin. This was the only thing still holding the 75 pounds of tire and rack. It had pulled the entire wall away. We removed it all and framed it up solid glued and stapled new ply board and re attacked and glued the fiberglass. We installed new seals too. It is much better than factory designed. Oh yeah! we purchased and installed a bumper mount tire rack. Another thing we did while repairing the left was strengthen the structure and replace all of the sub structure ply board. We then re glued and timed and sealed the fiberglass. We replaced all of the seals under the metal trim as well. We removed the roof vents and sealed under and replaced as necessary. You may notice we installed expansion joints as well. This will insure the fiberglass will not release from the wall while expanding in temperatures. We tested and replaced all trim and seals as necessary.
Please keep in mind. This in not a simple buy and flip. We spent almost $10,000 on this RV making sure it was great. This RV is better than most any of the kind because we took our time and made it right.! It is not priced any higher than the same, but it is better.
