I bought the car off a lot in 1978. I haven’t driven it in years but i never had any mechanical problems with it. It has a stock VW 1600 cc Engine and is built on a 1969 VW pan.There is no battery or side windows.i added a rear window.There is almost no weather stripping on any joints. The body is all fiberglass with one crack over the front right fender. It has toggle switches for the turn signals. The seats are hard mounted for the maximum leg room. I’m 5’10”. The brakes froze so I’ve removed the front shoes to allow the wheels to rotate.The rears are also stuck and i don’t have the large socket to remove them. The rear wheels are on dollies (see photo) so it can be moved onto a trailer or roll back truck. I removed the nose so the car would fit in my garage.The car is sold AS/IS but i will be happy to answer any questions.I am selling because i need the garage space for other projects.There is NO speedometer and there never was one. Any check transaction must be by Bank Cashier’s check only.
