Up for sale is my vintage, mid 1960"s Snowco boat trailer model #BT-1408.
I originally bought this to convert into a trailer for my motorcycle, but in looking it over in more detail and doing some research on the company and the specific trailer, I have decided not to modify it, but rather make it available for Snowco collectors.
This trailer is in overall good condition and is built amazingly well, with a full boxed steel frame, as opposed to flimsy C-channel of today"s trailers. All the items that make this useable as a boat trailer are removable and it can be converted back to a utility trailer that was Snowco"s bread and butter business. The bed does tilt and the original trailer jack still works.
For the Snowco collector, this is a rare find and the reason I just can"t bring myself to cut it up and turn it into the cool motorcycle trailer I envisioned.
Trailer is located in Framingham, MA. Winner bidder is responsible for all transportation costs. Seller may help to transport within the New England area for a fee.
