YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1963 “GOLDEN ISLES” TRAVEL TRAILER Our camper is a rare survivor from the Golden Isles Company. Selling due to being in our 70’s and retiring from the road. Golden Isles trailers were manufactured in Douglas, Georgia between 1960 and 1963, with fewer than 1,000 manufactured. This is number 757 off the assembly line. Camper measures 12.5’ from hitch ball to rear bumper. New tires. New wheels. New leaf springs. New axle. Microwave, Refrigerator with separate freezer, Ice Cold Air Conditioner, Original three burner stove top with oven, Stainless sink, Freezer Box, Port-a-potty. All systems: water, electric, gas work as they should. Original dining table folds down into a bed. Full curtains. Excellent upholstered seating. 110 wiring with 30 amp outlet prepares you for any campground electric. Roof newly sealed and maintained …no leaks! All windows function as they should with screens. All seams sealed and caulked. Original functioning louvered door. Storage under the dinette seats, under the front settee, over the front windows, and in the closet. Newly filled Propane Tank.
