Vehicle description
Cute vintage Airstream camper/little house.
When I fixed this camper up, I wanted to keep as much original as possible while still refreshing it a little. The foam in the bedding is all new. Curtains, upholstery and indoor/outdoor carpet are all new. When the beds are pulled out, double bed linens fit perfectly. Lots of storage under beds/couches which is not shown. Exterior has been stripped and polished and shine has been easy to maintain (although it could probably use a quick once over with the smoothest polish just to really make it mirror again). Polishers and extra (opened cans) of polish are included in sale. We love it, but are selling because we are moving across country and will have no place for it at our new home. We are located in Berlin, Maryland, just outside of Ocean City. Sale does not include delivery. Trailer passed MD inspection about 8 years ago and we have no reason to believe it would not pass now. Trailer is (obviously) sold AS-IS so please come look at it before buying or send many questions and we can also schedule a FaceTime tour for you. We are happy to answer questions for people who are serious about possibly buying and have the funds to do so and have plenty more photos to email.
Quick list of What Works:
Hot and cold running water in kitchen and bathroom IF attached to a water source (hose) Holding tank with hoses and adapter Electrical works with both battery and plugged into external 110 volt All original (and upgraded/replaced) inside and travel lights work Inside gas lanterns, stove and hot water heater Microwave works if trailer is plugged into a 110 power source Stereo and speakers Seals around windows have been scraped and replaced. One lock set replaced on one window. All windows lock and function properly. Screens have been re-screened with vinyl screening. One screen was missing when we bought it. Was replaced but we had to modify to get it to open correctly. Front Awning works great. Has a few little holes that we have patched. New spring in roller a few years ago.
Quick list of What doesn’t work:
The potable water tank was disconnected by previous owner but pump "appears" to work. Beyond that we don’t know what is going on as we have never tried to figure it out bc we mostly camp in places with full hookups.
We removed the original A/C unit. Electrical still there to replace with new one.
We removed a ceramic toilet from bathroom that I do not think was original and replaced with a self contained portable toilet. Plumbing and hole still there if you want to put a toilet back in.
The fan above the stove doesn"t work and we have had trouble finding a replacement. Opening front door or kitchen window vents it just fine.
Back bathroom window is plexiglass bc I broke the original window. You can purchase a replacement window but this works just fine.
We removed the back awning and made window covers with the fabric. Can send pics if you want.
We only use 20 pound gas tanks. There were no gas tanks when we purchased trailer.
What is included in sale:
Clean title Solar panel and solar battery and inverter Weight distribution hitch The Cyclo Polisher and all the different grades of polish for maintaining mirror finish (a bonus of aprox. $500.00) The circular polisher used for buffing and about a dozen pads. Rivets and riveter
