1973 Chevrolet C60 Bus. Seating for 36 adults or 54 youth. Chevrolet Industrial gas powered 427 big block tall deck engine . 91005 miles on odometer. Allison automatic transmission. Heavy duty Superior body. Hydraulic brake system works fine.
This bus was in good running condition and passed CHP inspections up until it was parked in 2019. Battery is on a trickle charger. It might need a minor tune up before it can be driven out of our yard. This bus is smog exempt due to its age and is exempt from California Diesel laws so it can be legally registered and driven in California with minor effort. The tires have good tread depth and there is minimal rust on this bus. The interior is all complete and in good shape for its age.
There is nothing missing from this bus so it would be a great vehicle to restore, convert into a schoolie or take to Burning Man. Our company ran this bus for 20 years with no issue and it was well maintained during its service. Parts are relatively easy to obtain for this bus, especially for the engine and drive train.
