This vintage Airstream has been sitting in a backyard for 8 years without much maintenance done to it. We replaced tires, front jack, battery, mattresses with all new items and made the dining sleeping area in front. We also replaced electrical outlets and painted inside. Propane has been tested for stovetop and lanterns and they work. But we don"t want to try the furnace or water heater, they look like they need to be updated or replaced. We have had no leaks in shell. Water pipes look old, cracked and worn and need to be replaced in areas (going to be doing this next week). The Airstream pulls very nice. It has some bumps and bruises but overall in good shape. Would be perfect for a restoration or full tear down rebuild. .Refrigerator and microwave are in working condition. AC unit comes on as well. We have not tried the plumbing but working on putting pex lines and fittings in.
