Vehicle description

Here is an excellent example of a vintage 1965 Hi-Lo camper. Purchased from the original owners that took excellent care of it and always stored it in the garage. The box measures 9" 4" long and 84" wide, it"s 93" tall in the up position and 62" tall in the down position. Total length is approximately 14" 6". Whether you want to use it for it"s intended purpose, take it to a show behind your classic car or truck, use it as a She-Shed or a Man Cave office etc., you will not be disappointed in the condition of this little hard to find survivor. It requires 35 nearly effortless cranks (handle slides on a shaft at bottom of the door) to raise or lower, and it only takes 30 seconds. The gas bottle is nearly full and the stove and furnace appear to be in excellent. However, I did not light either one of them. It has an icebox fridge, a pump type sink and one 12 or 110 volt interior light. The roof vent and windows all work fine. The is a screen for the door in a holder near the heater (see pic). The booth converts into a double bed by lowering the table top and sliding the cushions together. All seats have storage areas beneath them and one contains a dolly wheel for the tongue jack, fender mount trailering mirrors, four screw type jack stands, power cord, porta-pot and two awning poles. I do not have the awning canvas, but the camper has the awning track on both sides. The tires are like new and the spare is good. The roof is in excellent condition and there is no sign of a leak anywhere, the floor and underside are in excellent condition, there is a 2" tear in one of the rear booth cushions (see last pic). All cushions, original curtains and the linoleum are in excellent condition. I thoroughly cleaned everything, replaced the light wiring and the bulbs, checked the wheel bearings and greased everything. * It has hydraulic surge type brakes, but I did not rebuild the components. It doesn"t leak fluid. ( I don"t believe brakes are necessary as small as it is) * There is a scratch on the left rear corner ( see picture). Camper is very road-worthy.The buyer may tow it away or I will load it onto a flat bed trailer or car carrier etc. free of charge for the buyer or a shipper. It should be picked within 30 days. A $500 PayPal deposit is due within 24hr. of the auction"s end, and the balance is due within 10 days, via PayPal or certified check. Let me know if you have any questions or wish to see the camper in person. I prefer the auction method, which allows all buyers a chance and I do not disclose the reserve price, but I would consider it to be very fair. Thanks and good luck.
