Rare vintage 1959Airstream Traveler. 18 feet in length tongueto bumper – fits into many tent sites! Interior completely remodeled using most of the original components, andpolished to a soft glow. GenuineMarmoleum linoleum floor. Original Princess3-burner propane stove with oven; original Marvel icebox (110v-only refrigeratorcompressor removed, and the space converted to a storage drawer); originalwhite porcelain-enamel sink. Originalmahogany plywood paneling interior walls supplemented with birch; hardrockmaple and cedar countertops; purpleheart and sapele wood accents. All wood surfaces finished with natural tungoil. Custom cabinet modificationsinclude a liquor cabinet (converted from the broom closet), extra storagedrawers, maple pull-out cutting board, bookshelves and leather-covered bench. Originalbed platform lengthened and reconfigured to expand to a Queen-size bed;handmade all-natural cotton and wool futon mattress. Custom made heart-shaped aluminum table withmidcentury-modern beechwood chairs. Vintageporcelain-enamel propane heater/fireplace. 5-gallon stainless steel countertop (gravity-fed) fresh water can withbrass spigot; portable grey-water tank. Alllight fixtures are custom made 12-volt, with LED bulbs. Two USB ports for charging devices. 20-amp solar panel with mounting pole andcharge controller; 12-volt AGM deep cycle battery; extra system to charge fromautomobile if necessary.
