Vehicle description

You are bidding on a 1947 Bantam "Jeep" trailer with a clean VA title and VIN plate. This is the post-war civilian model. Unlike the military model, this trailer has a tailgate, 12vt lighting, and stake pockets. This little trailer was completely restored with new leaf springs, hangers, bearings, hitch, wiring and lighting. It was completely disassembled, cleaned and repaired, sandblasted, sprayed with rust converter, primered, and painted with Rapco WWII green. It has a new heavier floor and tailgate, as well as two additional cross-members for added strength. It makes a great show trailer, or a workhorse. Everything is new except for the tires - they are in good shape but are older and I didn"t trust them on a car. I"ve seen these at the MVPA convention sell unrestored for $2000, so it"s priced to move. Local pick up only. Cash must be paid in full when you pick it up - no exceptions.
