VehiclePickup Dueto security issues, the following criteria must be followed – NO EXCEPTIONS All winning bidders who wish to enter CDTA property must sign in and present a valid photo ID All winning bidders who wish to enter CDTA must be accompanied by a CDTA staff member at all times No work may be done on the bus on CDTA property. CDTA’s mechanics will not be available to charge the batteries, replace flat tires, etc. Vehicle must be towed. There can be no attempts to drive the vehicle off the lot, even if it runs perfectly. Once the vehicle is off of CDTA’s property, it cannot be brought back on. Availability Vehiclepickup must be made between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, excludingholidays. CDTA requires 24 business hours notice before pickup. CDTAstores buses in 3 locations. New YorkState buyers must pay 8% sales tax on this purchase. Tax-exempt buyers mustpresent valid tax-exemption paperwork (resale certificate, tax-exempt form,etc.) Buyer must provide 24 business hours’ notice, with approval byCDTA, prior to vehicle pick up. CDTA accepts Cash-in Person, CertifiedBank Checks, and Paypal ONLY. Note– Prior to vehicle removal, winning bidder will be required to sign a bill ofsale, in order for CDTA to track its" disposal of surplus vehicles.
