We are selling this 1987 Chance VS-24 Trolley. This is such a fun trolley and it got looks and waves, thumbs up and Ring the Bell! ! wherever it went. We purchased this from Charlottesville NC in 2002 and operated it in our charter fleet in the Kansas City area doing weddings, NASCAR, and special events, until it was retired. It seats 24 passengers and has an enclosed rear "politicians porch or platform". The trolley is air ride. The trolley only has 107,946 miles. It is equipped with the Caterpillar 3208 engine. It has an Allison 645 transmission, The Good: it is low mileage. It runs and drives, electrical system works. Suspension fine.Excellent tires. Seat wood ok. The bad: Cosmetics- The trolley has sat and not been used a few years. The wood on the exterior will need work. The floor should be replaced eventually. The brakes seem fine, but will need to be inspected. We are selling the trolley as a running working vehicle, but not road worthy without inspection. We say plan to ship the vehicle on a flat bed, or tow it to your location and make this what it needs to be to serve your purpose. We have a low reserve, The deposit of $250.00 and final payment can be paid by check and deposited into our Bank of America account.
