TRIUMPH SPITFIRE 1500
I am reluctantly selling my dream car which is a 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. I’m buying a new car and wife said only if I cleared the garage for her to use. The car has 75745 on the odometer and ran great prior to me breaking it down to restore it. I have replaced the rear and front suspension, engine manifold, brand new Weber carb, exhaust manifold, wheel bearings, brake rotors, new dash along with numerous other things. I installed a new brake caliper and brake line on the driver side but didn’t get to passenger side yet. I have all the parts I took off to include door handles and car seats which need to be reupholstered and a new convertible top. I also did the metal work on the front end so you can install the nice chrome bumper rather then the big ugly bumpers it came with. The frame and floor boards have no rust and I started doing minor body work in preparation for paint job. You will need to run a new accelerator cable, install exhaust pipes and battery and it should fire up with some carb adjustments. If your interested in the car then you are aware of the prices on Moss motors and what you’ll need to finish the car. It really doesn’t need much more but the wife has spoken!
