Vehicle description
Barn find with less than 30 miles! 2009 Tri-Fun mini truck. Has GM 4cyl and 5 speed manual transmission. It is equipped with heat, AC and radio/CD. The cosmetic condition is good but weathered. The doors on the van body have some rust but could easily be reskinned. A little TLC would put the vehicle in very nice condition appearance wise. Mechanically everything works as it should and as one would expect with this low mileage. We road tested it and found it would do 50mph easily. . .the literature says it has a top speed of 70! This model was made for the US. It has all the lights, signals, horn, etc as required by the DOT. Has a clean Indiana title. The vehicle is for sale locally. The seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time. Here is what I know. The original purchaser bought the vehicle new not knowing it was a manual transmission. He did not know how to drive a manual and never took time to learn. The vehicle was stored until we bought it last month. The door appears to be made of plywood with metal skins. I"m guessing the plywood got wet, held moisture and rusted the skins. I think rebuilding the door would be a relatively easy task. As for the mileage. . . . . .the title has a mileage declaration of 5 miles that was recently signed off on by the original owner. Aside from that I have no other documentation. We have driven the vehicle around for 30 or so miles and have found no reason to believe the miles are incorrect from an operational standpoint. The tires appear to be original and show no or very little wear. The steering is tight, there are no leaks, all the lights/signals work as they should, the engine starts right up/runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly. As I said the exterior is weathered. It needs a good detailing. There are some cracks in the dash pad and a small dent in the left front corner of the cab. Based on everything I have seen I believe the mileage declaration on the title is correct.
