Vehicle description

You know how you love your Grandma to pieces, but she"s just, well. .old? That"s this RV. We"ve had her forever. She"s been all over this country and seen a lot of things. But man, she still has the moves. First of all, she only has just over 83k miles. (see the odometer pic). We"ve had this thing from the beginning, so that"s a true reading. The 4-cylinder engine runs like a champ. The brakes and hoses look good. I just put a brand new deep cycle battery in, too. The tires are decent and this thing is road worthy today. (side note: the side door is a bit of an adventure. Keep reading. . )
We renovated this baby five years ago, and it has been sitting under cover ever since. (Long story about travel and airline benefits and new directions in life. .buy me a beer.) My cute wife made the interior even cuter, while I jumped on the exterior to repair aged molding and a roof that sagged under the weight of the 2010 snow load. So, among other things, it has a new rubberized roof, deep cycle battery, curtains, vinyl tile floor, new mattress, and cabinet paint.
The old girl has a working microwave, cabin radio, 4 pan gas cookstove, electric furnace, and new 120v electric AC unit. The truck AC doesn"t blow cold, however, so you might want to charge it. The water system worked the last time I charged it, but I haven"t gone to the trouble this season to check it out. The kitchen sink, bathroom sink, toilet, and shower are all functional. Most of the interior light fixtures work.
Now, for a dose of reality: This RV is 33 years old. Some of the trim is loose. Some of the paint is peeling. Some of the siding has seen better days. Did I mention that the truck AC isn"t charged? This makes for some warm travel days. The front interior carpet has been removed. The entry flooring is functional, but not what most people would call attractive.
As for the side entry door, it is a real dog. Sometime in 2006, we got into a real Colorado wind storm which ripped it from the hinges. It has never been the same since. (see pics). If I were going on a road trip, I would need some duct tape or bungee cords for sure.
Finally, these old 4-cylinder Toyota RV"s are not power houses. On most inclines, you"ll slow to a 40 mph crawl. Patience is a necessary virtue with these old girls.
We"re selling her AS-IS, so ask purposeful questions and we"ll promise to be as forthcoming as we can be.
