This is the very rare and sought after Toyota V6 Chasis RV. It has the very solid Winnebago body that is fiberglass exterior and rubber roof. The roof is BRAND NEW. We removed the roof, decking and ceiling and built it with new truss, insulation, decking, rubber, trim, ceiling and lights. The factory roof had started to sag in the middle from the weight of the ac unit. We decided rebuild this RV and make it as good as possible. Since it has the low mile Toyota chassis and the high quality body we decided to do it right.
It has all new interior wall board and trim. All new upper cabinets including new interior flooring. The flooring is new vinyal plank type. It is very attractive. The new trim and wall coverings paired with the flooring and new flat screen tv with dvd, make it look like a much newer RV. The RV sleeps 4 people. The upper bed is very easy to access. One step and sit down. There is actually enough roof for two full size adults. The booth bed is a little smaller but will sleep two as well. We also installed new faucets, new water heater and new toilet. Lets face it who wants a used toilet. .
It is actually very roomy for a small RV. As you can see I am in the shower. I am 6"1" and 220lbs. I fit easily. There is a lot of floor space in the living area as well.
With the roof being new and the interior upgraded it will last a long time. With low miles and a solid chassis with a great reputation, it is sure to increase in value, if you take care of it. You can expect 15 mpg at 62 mph. It will easily do 75 mph buy your economy drops to 11 or 12, mpg. The tires are very good and we just serviced the dash ac unit converting it to 134a. It is fully self contained with exception of a generator.
It does have a space you could ad an Onan 2.8 generator but it has never had one.
Basically if you want a good quality compact RV that gets better fuel mileage than a full size and you want a quality body and chassis. This Rv can work for you.
It had a factory defect. We purchased it after the previous owner filed an insurance claim because of the sagging ac unit. They were under the impression that it was because of an old water leak. When we tore into it we found that Winnebago forgot to put the cross supports in required to hold the air unit. So we installed all new 2x4 joists from front to back with extra support for ac unit. We added insulation which the factory also neglected to ad. It is very possible this unit was sold new without a roof ac unit and was added later. But still it should have had more than a double layer of plywood with no joists to the roof structure. We have improved the quality of the unit and added a brand new rubber roof. It is now built more like a newer unit. Though the RV has damage history we will be giving you a clean clear title with NO SALVAGE AND NO REBUILT REMARKS. Do not misunderstand we did rebuild it but it is simply old enough not to have a marked title. I am absolutely positive it is better today because of its damage in the past. The only insurance companies the I am aware of that will not insure a RV with rebuilt history is Allstate and Esurance, so just don"t try(that goes for Arkansas anyway).
