Vehicle description

One of the rarest RVs you will ever find. Toyota only made about 80 of these in the late 80"s and early 90"s. (Surprisingly easy to find parts, though). This is a 1994 Toyota Galaxy Fiberglass camper. Roemer NW in Seattle imported it last year and completely renovated it. My wife and I drove it all over the US from coast to coast in 2020 and it has been my daily driver since. Toyota claimed it slept 4. While I don"t recommend that, it was comfortable for me, my wife, and our dog. The last Galaxy sold sight unseen for $44,000. $44,000 before new wiring, a new electric panel. $5,000 in 300Ah of Lithium batteries/3000W pure sign wave inverter/solar panels, a new fan/vent with remote, a new Thetford cassette toilet, new water tank, new window seals, rebuilt front and rear axles, new tires, new belts, a Weboost antenna, new bumper, new transmission, new clutch, and the list goes on. Please refer to the build in the photos for a more comprehensive list of the work completed.
Mechanically, the Galaxy needs nothing. No leaks, rattles, weird noises. Starts immediately with no smoke. It is ready to go anywhere. After the road trip, we replaced all filters as well. The only known issues are that the hot water heater isn"t working and the propane cabin heater works intermittently. We actually planned to remove the propane heater because it takes up too much space under one of the dinette seats. Our Little Buddy Coleman heater is more than enough to heat the camper, it takes up less space, and it can be removed (obviously) during the Summer. I"ll include it with the sale. Even though the toilet is new, we considered removing the entire shower and toilet. It would allow for another storage compartment outside (where the cassette slides out) and a lot more storage or seating inside. Because of the outside shower, we ended up not using the shower inside the camper.
Roemer NW made some repairs to the fiberglass on the back of the camper. The repairs were excellent but the patch is a lighter color than the rest of the fiberglass. This is just a very minor cosmetic issue that I wanted to point out. The fiberglass is in excellent condition. When we"ve discussed keeping the Galaxy long term, we"ve looked into vinyl wrapping. (Google "Galaxy Yotarhome." It looks amazing). Cosmetically, the paint on the front of the original Hilux truck is in excellent condition. Looks new. There is no rust on the underside. Again, Roemer went through nearly every mechanical component.
Currently, our friend is reupholstering the cushions. We"ve struggled with the decision to sell the Galaxy and it was on our todo list, even though it wasn"t necessary. I will update the listing with photos of the new cushions when they are finished. The reserve is $55,000, which is less than I have in the camper. Please do your research before bidding. If you know about these RVs, you know it"s unlikely you"ll have the opportunity to buy one again.
I"ll upload videos of starting and driving the Galaxy as well as more interior photos, including the inverter, the water tank, the undercarriage, etc.
Please message me with any questions or to schedule a time to see the camper in person or via FaceTime.
