Vehicle description
2002 TOYOTA CELICA GTS RACECAR, IMPORTED BY TOYOTA AND BUILT BY TRD FOR THIS YEARLY RACING SERIES AT THE TOYOTA LONG BEACH GRAND PRIX. Other times, this car was used by Fastlane racing school at Willow Springs International Raceway. 6 race at Long beach, and the rest of the time used sparingly at the driving school. This car has only 11,000 miles on it and is well maintained. I purchased this car 4 years ago and only used it once. It is fully serviced and ready to race. I own other much faster racecars but this Toyota is the most fun and easy to own racecar. All Celebrity Racecars were quality built by TRD with the following full race equipment including: 1. welded in SCCA approved 6 point roll cage 2. Interior and engine bay Fire system 3. TRD Coil over fully adjustable suspension system 4. Front and rear camber adjustment 5. Race coil springs and shocks 6. Racing brake pads 7. TRD racing front & rear anti sway bars 8. 17" BBS light weight race wheels and Hoosier race tires 9 Window safety net 10. 6 point Simpson safety harness for driver and passenger 11. Engine is 100% 1.8 liter Toyota twin cam (as used in Lotus Elise) rated at 185 HP 12. TRD racing headers and straight through exhaust. (I have added a mid muffler to cut down the loud noise 13. 6 speed stock transmission 14. The headlights were deleted and cover with plastic cover with headlight decal 15. The car is in as raced condition with the majority of the interior intact and this is not a stripped out junk racecar 16. The engine fires with cold racing spark plugs and revs freely 17. 100% accident free and the body in great condition 18. All race livery on the car is in as raced original condition The handling of the car is neutral and has high cornering capability and is a ton of fun to drive. All maintenance parts could be obtained directly from you local dealer and junk yard at very low cost. It doesn"t required a high price race mechanic to work on it. To further make it faster, take some weight out and improve its engine intake. Go racing with a solid professionally built quality racecar instead of a home built racecar. You"d appreciate its reliability because you can finish each race. Over $30K to built, now your for only $7500. Please don"t ask me whether this car is streetable, it is not although the engine is stock and may even pass smog. Sold with a bill of sale and original sales agreement from Fastlane racing school.
