Take a good look at this 87 F-350 Wrecker. It is like brand new inside and out. This is a one owner truck, owned by the Federal Government, specifically, the FBI (Federal Bureau Of Investigation). This was their in house tow truck and it has only 90,000 miles. The truck runs, shifts and drives absolutely perfect. It is equipped with the bullet proof 7.3 Navistar Diesel, along with a fully synchro 4 speed manual transmission. It doesn"t have a squeek or rattle, a shimmy or a shake. I picked it up in Sacramento and drove it back to Discovery Bay and I was amazed at how good it runs. It comes to the new owner ready to go. It has the tow sling, as well as a wheel lift, plus it is equipped with a jump start system (cables included) and complete tow dollies. All of the electronics and hydraulics work perfectly, There is some Motorola equipment in the cab with remote speaker and that comes with the truck as well. The truck has a clean car fax as well. If you are a local repair shop in need of a wrecker, or a tow company that needs a truck for local road service, this is the truck you"re looking for. It has never been used for commercial towing, or as a rotation truck. There are no emblems to remove or paintwork to perform. The truck is nicer than most of the 2014 or 2015 wreckers i"ve seen on the street. If the new owner picks this truck up on Monday morning, he can start towing on Monday afternoon. There is not a single thing that needs attention. The brakes are perfect and the tires are like brand new. The paint and interior are close to flawless. The truck is located in northern California, about an hour from San Francisco. I encourage potential buyers to come look at it before bidding. If the buyer lives out of state, you can fly in, I will have you picked up at the airport and you can drive it home. As a dealer, we are required to collect sales tax, smog fees, license and a documentation fee if the truck sells to a California resident.
