Up for sale is 1 of 2 1968 Titan Formula 3 team race cars. This car was raced by team driver Roy Pike. Team owner Charles Lucas drove the other team car. This car won a number of races in 1968 in Formula 3 configuration. At a later date the car came to the US and was converted to a Formula B car with a Lotus Twin cam motor which it presently has. The gearbox is a Hewland 5/6 with big shafts, and gearsets. Car is listed in the Titan Registry
The car is in race ready condition with only a few test laps on the Ivey prepared twin cam. I had the car professionally completely rebuilt a number of years ago upon acquisition. All receipts come with the car as well as documentation showing each Formula 3 race in 1968 and where Roy finished. He won 5-6 of the races that year.
I have a 1 litre Cosworth engine to convert the car back to Formula 3 spec along with a 30 degree bellhousing required to do so. There are 4 spare wheels, and some miscellaneous other items.
The car is at Sonoma Raceway, and can be viewed there. This car is Monaco vintage race eligible having run there in 1968. The Titan F3 car was very competitive. Please contact me with any questions. I can be reached at or 310-849-5598.
