Up for auction is a 2001 Thomas Saf-T-Liner school bus. No rust and no mechanical issues.
Diesel pusher with a Caterpillar 3126 inline 6 cylinder engine coupled with Allison automatic push button 3060 transmission. A great combination!
The bus is 36" long and has 74" interior height.
Air brakes work and hold air properly.
This amazing machine has an incredible number of uses limited only by your immagination. I have sold them as a Tiny House, Skoolie, RV, portable storage, billboard, construction trailer, hay ride, food truck, any business on wheels.
No mechanical issues. I personally drove for 45 minutes at highway speed.
There are some minor bumps and bruises that I have tried to show in the pictures. Overall, this is a VERY NICE bus.
Mileage shows 180,xxx which I believe to be accurate, however, the school district sells all of the buses not actual and exempt miles. Regardless it has been well maintained and runs great.
