This is a fully restored 1942 WC SERIES 41/42 Dodge U.S. Army cargo truck. The drive train is all either new old stock or rebuilt. The 4 wheel drive, pto, & which all work as if new. Cruises at 55mph with no shakes or rattles. All newly done seats & interior. New custom made canvas cargo cover & end curtains. All new wood bed rails & bows. This was a frame off restoration. Have complete pictures of start of restoration up to finished product. After the war, truck was located in northern California mountains until it"s rescue. Frame, body painted with military grade OD Green paint. Markings are painted/stenciled onto vehicle as was done in 1942. Just in time for late summer car shows & Cruz-ins. This truck always turns heads & attracts a crowd. Parade season is comming up for our veterans I hope it finds a nice home. Comes with over $2,500.00 in spare parts, gear box, drive shafts, head, intake, exhaust manifold, etc. This is a 12 volt wiring system in vehicle. On Aug-23-18 at 21:31:26 PDT, seller added the following information: This vehicle has standard military lights, black out drive lights, also turn signals & back up lights for safety. All work. Note: This vehicle will fit in a standard 10x24x9 garage. It can also be transported on a open car carrier. Size is the same as a 1 ton dually crew cab. Spare Items are ready to be shipped in bed of truck along with all of the canvas. GVW is 5000lbs. Note, the version of this truck was awarded to GM & not Dodge. Most Dodges of this class were the 6x6 type with no dually rear ends. This is a WC/ VF Series truck that had the cargo bed installed.
