We can pick you up from the airport when you come inspect the bus in person. Ready to drive home nationwide, fly in and drive home! Delivery also possible. All purchases need a $500 down payment within 24 hours of purchase and a completed bank transfer, certified bank check or cash before the bus leaves our property. Sold in “As Is Condition” with no warranties. Buyer will need to verify bus is 100% compatible for the application to which they are purchasing for. The white part above and below the stripe still look to be original with the only spot being affected by the repair being the green stripe 2 to 3 foot wide. (Please see pictures)
This is a 2010 Arboc brand Spirit of Mobility ADA accessible shuttle bus with 161,XXX Miles. Arboc is the “Cadillac” of buses manufactured with cutting edge ideas, well executed designs and style. This bus is from a western Tennessee municipality were it was well taken care of and serviced on a routine schedule. Since this was a municipal vehicle, all maintenance and problems were swiftly addressed on the government budget. This bus has the bullet proof tried and true 6.6L Duramax Diesel engine with industry renowned Allison Automatic transmission. This bus was built on a Chevrolet 4500 chassis with a total GVW of 14,200 pounds. Total passengers are 10 plus the driver, or up to 3 wheel chairs + 2 attendants and the driver. This has surface mounting provisions for Q’Straint brand wheel chair tie downs mounted on the floor and walls for lap and shoulder wheelchair belts. (Tie Downs are NOT included, just the mounts) More seats could be added as there is plenty of room in the seating area of this bus to add seats if your application requires. The Freedman brand seats all have their own lap seat belt for each passenger. These seats fold up and out of the way as shown for wheelchair passengers while also providing additional wheelchair tie down points. The size of the passenger area is 7’8” wide by almost 13’ long (About 100 sqft. surface area). Interior ceiling height varies from 7’2” at front and tapers to 6’8” in the rear passenger compartment. This bus is ADA accessible with equipped features, which makes this bus extremely desirable for many applications. Not only does this accommodate more passengers in a smaller frame size since there is no wheel chair “elevator” but it is also quicker and easier to pick up all passengers since there are NO cumbersome steps to enter the buss. This low floor bus has a special reinforced frame with air ride suspension and a deployable access ramp. The special frame, low floor technology makes this bus virtually a flat walk into the passenger compartment. This bus rides extremely smooth with the Air Ride suspension. With the air ride suspension comes a selectable kneeling capability when, or if the access ramp is deployed for needing passengers. This kneeling capability drops the buss a few inches from ride height to a roughly 12” curb height door opening. This lowered curb height contributes to a more level approach for passengers with or without the ramp deployed. This bus has is a very quiet riding atmosphere since this rides on cushy air suspension and has high end well made interior that is tough and solid. These components contribute to a quiet ride for your occupants and a higher satisfaction rating. Aside from the frame and suspension being well engineered, the bus shell is a marvel in itself. The shell is made of fiberglass,including the floor inside and out. There is NO exposed wood or seams to rot out like many lesser built bus companies. This bus has one of the most stylish exteriors of any shuttle bus built. With the discrete folding electric wheel chair entry ramp there is no large unsightly cut out on the side of this bus for a wheelchair elevator! The floor on the inside has a very rugged rubber sprayed on bed liner material which can be easily hosed or power washed out in case of accidents or spills. The undercarriage has the original protective finish. There is NO rust on the undercarriage of this bus since it was from a southern climate and only driven on paved roads. This almost looks like it rolled off the showroom floor! The interior is climate controlled with the traditional Chevrolet dash heat and AC as well as an auxiliary roof mounted Thermo King brand 65,000 BTU A/C and heat system. This will accommodate the hottest of climates being ice cold inside in the summer or warm and toasty in the winter. The giant factory tinted windows provide your passengers privacy from outside viewers but also aid in an unobstructed view of the surroundings for an enjoyable occupant ride. There are 4 emergency easy open windows in the passenger compartment which open for easy rescue access in case of an emergency. This bus is equipped with electric passenger door opener, electric deploy able access ramp at 34” width,LED interior lights, LED exterior lights, fiberglass roof, auxiliary heat and cooling. The tires are in good shape with around half tread. The brakes are also in good shape. Comes with a six way power adjustable driver seat made by United States Seating Company. Some other high end features include, an aluminum traction plate driver side step board, fully power adjustable heated right/ left mirrors, stainless steel entrance rails and standing room roof mounted handrails.
