Vehicle description

Super Classy 12 passenger Limousine Mini-Bus
Total invested: $23,911.14 (plus 400 hours of my work) Asking price: $18,910
2005 Ford E450 Super Duty Triton V10 platform. Thor Eldorado National AeroTech 220 23" cutaway mini bus. Operated for 4 years as a Budget Car Rental airport shuttle. Budget did excellent maintenance on the engine and running gear. 200,000 miles, all low speed between the airport and the parking lot.
Completely restored inside and outside, so it presents as a new vehicle. The interior is Classy Limousine (not "party bus"): black leather J seat, maple bars with Champagne and Old Fashioned glasses, marbled ceiling, etc. Designed so you can be proud to take a group of high end executives out for a wine tour, or do a celebrity wedding.
Exterior paint is super deep mirror finish black. Interior paint is stock white except for the ceiling which is silver marble on black. Total for paint was $8,626.
Large side windows are 5% tint. Small top sliders are untinted.
I designed and built the cabinets and seats. The cabinets are trimmed with 100 year old maple flooring salvaged from the Silverton Oregon Grange. The counter-tops are faux marble. I put in plenty of glass holders (both Old Fashioned and Stem), bottle tubs and garbage containers.
The seats are made of plywood bolted to the original seat mounting brackets. Urban Upholstery in Hillsboro Oregon upholstered the seats in 4" high compression foam and top-of-the-line pleather. $1,977 for the upholstery. Seating for 12 passengers.
The large screen TV is installed in the rear panel, the small TV is in the tall cabinet by the entry door.
All new tires at mileage 202789 back in February of 2009. The mileage on the odometer today is 202937 for a total of 148 miles in 10 years!
I have listed all expenses in a spreadsheet for easy reference.
I started this restoration project 10 years ago. Backstory is below if you want to read it. I have worked on it off and on ever since as a hobby. I start and run it twice a month and occasionally drive it around the block to keep it healthy.

Back Story:
I"ve been a Chauffeur for 20 years. About 12 years ago I joined with two partners to start a limousine business. One of the partners was the financial guy, one was the marketing and sales guy, and I was the operations guy.
We built the business to 3 stretch limousines, 2 SUVs, 3 sedans. Then we bought 2 of these mini buses because our wine tour business was booming. I finished restoring one of the buses (as a tour bus not a limousine bus), and put it into service. I started the restoration of the second bus, but then . .
Financial guy had trouble with his personal finances and started siphoning money from the business without marketing guy or I knowing anything about it. One day, out of the blue, a group of repo men appeared at the shop and repossessed our limousines. Financial guy disappeared (I have never seen him since).
Marketing guy and I tried to salvage the business, but then he got an offer from a company in Pheonix, and left abruptly . . leaving me holding the proverbial bag!
So . . I have been running the one bus that was fully restored as a wine tour business. I am not good enough at marketing and sales to build a business big enough to support two buses. I"m really good at operations, not at all good at sales!
It has bothered me for years to have this beautiful bus just sitting, not making people happy, not making money.
Thanks again for reading my ad . . and this little autobiography I wrote!
