Vehicle description

This is a one of a kind Bus built by Patchetts and Carstenson in Newman California, this company was purchased by Gillig a name famous in Buses and still in business today. One of 5 for 1937 built a Studebaker JM30B chases and cab, this is the only surviving bus of the 5. I had plans to convert to an rv but running out of time with too many projects! It weighs 7500 lbs, 25 ft long, I raised the roof 10" so you can walk inside with out a head injury. Small block chevy 400 with less than 30,000 miles, turbo 400 transmission and a Watson 3 speed auxiliary transmission. Engine has new starter, alternator, water pump, aluminum radiator, balancer, runs and drives great, licensed and state of Texas inspection, clear title in my name. It"s a project! But in remarkable shape for 80 years old thanks to years in two museums! It has a useable toilet installed with tank, lots of rv parts, stove switchgear etc. Power brakes and new brake lines, wheel bearings. It needs 2 more new tires and a spare but has 4 new 7:00x20 installed.
