Up for sale we have here a prime example of a Pinzgauer 718M. A rare left hand drive Truck. This is not an abused ex U.S. Delta Force rebuild. It came out of the military auctions in Salzburg, Austria. Original spec was a Pinzgauer 718 -P80 with a ambulance back. It was First imported into the U.K. in 2007 where it was sold to a gentlemen who wished to tow his sailing boat. The gearbox was upgraded and external fan cooler for the automatic transmission was added as well as adding the intercooler for more power. The vehicle then changed hands again about 12 months later and the ambulance box went and a new soft top rear and all new panels were fitted. The owner then used it for shooting/hunting but it ended up surplus to requirements on the estate. The Pinzgauer then sold again to a collector where it was upgraded with a p93 front intercooler housing and headlight mounts. Because of its excellent condition It was mostly used for parades and light outings and spent most of its time in the stable while he used his other trucks. which is why he chose to sell it. I then purchased the truck and imported it into the U.S.
The truck is a 1988 and runs perfectly with only 42k miles. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the world. These diesel variants are the Cadillac"s of the Pinzgauers! Absolute pleasure to drive, not a chore. Automatic transmission with selectable low range transfer case. Disc brakes at all wheels with dual calipers on each front wheel (stops on a dime)! Power steering (no broken thumbs), working heat, push button lockers with ability to lock all 6 wheels. Comfortable seating in the cab. Large capacity fuel tank (140 liters or 36.9 gallons).It can carry over 3klbs of cargo. Can be comfortably and safely driven on the highway. This truck just inspires adventure! The panoramic views from the forward cab are just awesome and it gets better when all the canvas is rolled up! The platform itself allows for multitude of setups, the choice is yours. .
Extras and new things the truck has:

* front winch bumper with a 24v 9klb superwinch.
