This auction is for a partially built Sonex Onex kit. This has a significant amount of the construction done, but corrections are needed. While all major airframe components appear to be here, I only can only confirm having the Sonex items as shown in pics. This is sold as-is and will require a significant amount of work and some replacement parts. I bought this as it is but just do not have the time to start dismantling it for deeper inspection and making corrections to mistakes made by the original builder. Clearly some skins have had extra holes drilled in them and I had planned on using them as templates to make replacements. The main spar in the center section was installed backwards and needs to be taken out and put back correctly. This is the primary known issue. Canopy plexi will be needed but what is shown is included. Most likely some other hardware and odds and ends will need to be purchased but most components and control hardware seem to be present, much of it installed. The set of prints shown are included. Do not bid on this if you are not willing to take apart a substantial amount of what was built to make it right. I knew this when I bought it but just cannot get to the project as I have had it sitting for too long already. I have other aircraft I need to finish first. Also buyer should consider any conditions of the manufacturer in getting support or parts. I am not the registered builder as I purchased this project after the original builder passed away. I think this is a good deal if you are willing to take on a lot of work and know how to complete the process of inspections and documentation as required. I will do my best to answer questions. Buyer will need to pick up in Kingman AZ.
