“Solid little airplane that is in "flying condition," yet is due for a "Condition Inspection" to legally fly again ($300 inspection fee only - can negotiate with Winner to do before if you are going to fly).” |
Model Year: | 1988 | Make: | sonerai |

Vehicle description
ONLY reason for selling is to raise money for new Adventures.
This is an incredible little airplane with an amazing history (including an "Aviation World Speed Record" in 2012 to help Veteran Charities near St Louis) - can easily stay a "Flyer" or put on display somewhere.
There"s not much else to say (please feel free to ask questions) except it"s solid, has the biggest H.A.P.I. VW engine available (2180 cc plus) with an custom Ed Steber wood propeller ($600+) made specifically for the engine in 2012, and a few other expensive improvements (panel mounted radio, custom iPhone/iPad mount, etc).
Plus the engine was expertly tuned by "Tricky" Steve Morley (Owner or Morley Racing Engines & longtime NASCAR consultant) to run the best - in addition, "Tricky" made a custom panel for "Beans" (short for plane"s "No Beans About It" Nickname/Callsign) and a couple other unique improvements.
LOW reserve price (below what was paid for it in 2011 & before putting thousands of $$$ & hundreds of hours of time more into her) - just want someone to get a good plane & to help start the Airport operation so we can keep helping our Aviation community.
SHIPPING: the plane"s wings easily come off & she can be put on a flatbed trailer or enclosed (Just under 20" long & no more than 5" high) - CAN SHIP ANYWHERE - for Overseas or long distance buyers we will assist your shipping company as necessary.
p.s. PLEASE no solicitations from Museums for 100% free donations - we are a legal non-profit corporation too.
Keep "em Flying!
