Vehicle description
2006 Freightliner Sprinter 3500 with mileage at only 150,000. Mercedes-Benz engine and parts. Runs and drives. New turbo, a little squealing when driving. Sometimes Turbo turns off when driving. If you turn off the engine, then turn on again, it reactivates.
-Double raised roof (This was the raised roof model of the Sprinter and I raised the roof even further) making it very comfortable for individuals over 6" tall (about 7ft ceilings)
-TOTALL REPAINTED with ultra tough truck-bed liner. This won"t scratch, is ultra durable, and best of all, if there is a ding, you can repaint over it (I have the paint and paint code) because it is matte.
-2 brand new tinted cabin windows, one large one with a T-Vent allowing air flow and one pothole in the "bedroom" allowing a view of the outside from bed
-1.5 to 2 inch thick, highest quality insulation throughout the cabin on floor, sides, and ceiling
-Sun roof, with 3 adjustable heights to allow in fresh air and a bug screen, and full blackout. Made in Germany.
-Vinyl flooring
-Separate cabin diesel heater, that uses fans to move the piping hot air to the back of the cabin where you sleep so it rises at your feet. Controlled by electronic device by temperature and will shut off when cabin reaches certain temp
-1x 150watt solar panel and 1x 100 watt solar panel connected to a 35amp MPPT controller
-80 amp LIP04 Lithium Ion battery pack with Battery Management System (much better than Lead-Acid because you can fully discharge these) and hardwired battery control center near front of the cabin to check on battery health. Capacity is strong enough to handle running the overhead fan all day, fridge all day and charging your computer and phone during the day and night and still have some left over. Once the sun comes up, you will be recharging and not need to plug in to the external charger or use the alternator via the smart isolator.
-40amp 12v Lithium charger when plugged into "Shore Power" aka 110v through an extension cord or RV camp ground plug from the outside of the van. Takes about 15 minutes to charge to the top from dead.
-Smart isolator and shut-off switch to charge battery. (3 ways to charge battery: solar, smart isolator, and 110v battery charger)
-12v adapted Rheem hot water tank with pressure release valve
-Fully waterproof hidden shower basin with epoxied wood base and drain, draining outside the van or to a grey water tank. Includes shower head and adjustable hot/cold water trim just like in a house.
-Portable, low profile toilet that hides away in the shower basin
-20 gallon fresh water thank
-Running water with pump for shower and kitchen sink
-Massive storage with sliding 250lb capacity drawer slides that slide right out of the back of the van making accessing your belongings super easy.
-6inch mattress with light switch and bedroom storage with 2x 12v charging plugs allowing for easy charging of your phones or computers within reach while in bed
-Lagun Table allowing one to work and move the table around so it doesn"t get in the way
-3 burner propane stove (including actual oven) from Furion with 20lb propane tank
-2 compartment 12v refrigerator with adjustable temperatures for each compartment (much better than 110v as it is higher efficiency due to no inverter)
-Custom made cabinetry painted with high quality Benjamin Moore Alkyd paint and wood shiplap walls which have been shellac"d and polyurethaned (see last photo)
-Totally LED lighting, warm white with 3 different sections of lighting, each with its own switch: bedroom, cabin, and storage (near the roof of the front seats)
-Beautiful epoxied Cherry wood kitchen table, from wood mill in New Jersey with bar sink, working pluming, separate fresh water faucet and tap water faucet.
-AirMaxx adjustable upgraded ceiling fan that allows you to drive while the fan is operational and has open and closed settings
-12v fridge with 3 year warranty, that has two compartments that you can adjust to have 2 different temperatures, one for freezer one for refrigerator.
-Cabinet doors need to be put on the shelves, and coverings on the doors to cover the insulation. A little exposed insulation above front sliding door. A little work needs to be done to complete the build.
The inside woodwork been finisbed. Those ohotos have it unfinished except for the only vertical photo. It has been finished with am amber shellac and poly coating. Looks beautiful.
