For sale is our "mostly" completed skoolie conversion sitting on a 2000 International Amtran. Bus has an International DT466e front engine with an Allison MT643 transmission with air brakes. Odometer reads 141000 miles although the gauge shorts out at times (very common with International gauges) so actual mileage may be a little higher. Bus runs and drives great, have driven it over 2k miles since conversion and purchase, averaged 8 mpg so far. Removed the ECM to allow bus to go 75mph (should not though, sweet spot on highway seems to be 60-63mph) had it checked out by a diesel mechanic upon purchase. Fluids and filters flushed and changed, steering linkages replaced, fuel primer replaced. Tires have good tread and no sign of rot. Bus is currently insured and road legal
Bus has following items: Dual AC (13500btu rooftop unit on thermostat up front, 5k window unit in rear of bus 6500 rated Class IV hitch 35 gallon gray water tank 50 gallon black water tank 100 gallon tub Ecotemp i12 tankless propane water heater 6ft +bunk beds Queen bed in rear Table drops down to make another bed in front 50 Amp electric on 5 breakers Dometic RV toilet LED lighting Apartment size refrigerator/freezer RV microwave Plenty of storage
Items still missing/not working: range top/stove top (we use a propane camp stove) fresh water tank/pump (we use a 5 gallon container) Outside paint job Rear running lights do not work, we just drive during the day (all turn, brake, hazard lights work just the rear running lights. may be a fuse or loose wire. .)
